With over 41,000 Dietary Supplements on the market, it can be challenging to determine which brand is safe and effective to take. Since the vitamin industry is unregulated, it is not uncommon for products to become adulterated, to contain ingredients not listed on the label, or contain less than what is listed on the label. For example, Informed Choice, a 3rd party testing lab evaluated 58 protein powders from popular retail stores and found 25% contain steroids and 11% contain stimulants not listed on the label. We wanted to ensure our patients and customers receive the highest quality when looking for a vitamin or supplement.
